Backend Developer Intern (Node.js)

We’re looking for 2 passionate and motivated Backend Developer Intern to join Pimjo and work on real-world products used by developers and teams globally. This role is perfect for someone who wants deep, practical experience in backend development inside a fast-moving product company.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js
• Work with REST APIs, authentication, and databases
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code
• Debug production issues and improve performance
• Collaborate closely with frontend, backend and product teams
• Learn how systems are designed and shipped

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms
• Must have completed at least one structured DSA or backend-related course
• Experience with Express.js
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a BSc in CSE, IT, or a related field
• Good understanding of JavaScript and Node.js basics
• Basic knowledge of databases like MongoDB or MySQL
• Familiar with Git and version control
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn fast
• Solid work ethics

Bonus (Nice to Have)

• Deployed any API or backend project
• Basic Linux or VPS knowledge

Duration, Probation & Evaluation
